We love what we do — and we do it with love. Two mates, from two completely different walks of life, with complementary skill sets spanning a combined 20 years of creative flow in the Film & TV Industry.

Vinnie Petrilli

Co-Director & Founder | Storytelling Lead

Vinnie has been a storyteller his whole life, from shooting films on his mum's VHS camcorder to working in broadcast television across Australia and abroad. He founded Third Space Studios to build something that champions his love of storytelling, diversity, and content that genuinely makes an impact. He fully immerses himself in every project, takes the time to truly get to know the people he's collaborating with, and believes that trust, transparency, and the ability to have a real laugh together are the foundations of any authentic end product. His approach is shaped by a deep sense of duty of care, particularly when working with family businesses and purpose-driven organisations whose legacies deserve to be honoured with real attention and respect. For Vinnie, authentic storytelling isn't a style choice. It's the only kind worth making.

Tyrone Jones

Co-Director | Strategy & Creative Lead

Ty joined Third Space Studios to do what great strategy is supposed to do: make sure the right story reaches the right people in the right way. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree, complemented by qualifications through Abbey Road Institute and Dubspot New York in audio engineering and sound design, he brings a commercial and creative clarity to the production process that most studios simply don't have. Ty leads the studio's strategic frameworks, including the Video Strategy Roadmap, which has become the foundation for how Third Space Studios approaches every new client relationship. He believes that a video without a strategy behind it is a missed opportunity, and he built the systems to make sure that never happens.
